Glitch has always been much more than a hair salon: art gallery, music venue, plant shop and kitchen! The multi-concept store is soon to have a little bit of a makeover though to launch their new eatery, focused on the “Bunwich” – where they are mixing up fashion and food even more.
“What is a bunwich?” you may ask. Using coal dyed Focaccia bread (the bun part) sourced from Grano Kitchen – an Italian eatery previously located in Glitch – they will have 3 filling options for vegans, veggies and meat lovers alike. Furthermore, the Bunwiches will be packaged in reusable, branded boxes, which will be included in the price of the first purchase – a fab sustainable packaging idea!
Head down to Glitch on Old Market Street to celebrate the launch of their gourmet-sandwich eatery on September 12th from 6.30pm where there will be live music, samples and deals on future Bunwich sandwiches. They will be collaborating on the eve with Indies in Bristol and Konichiwa Agency for another “Start Up Stories” – where you can find out more about their story and socialise with other Bristol Independents and start-ups.
More details on the launch event can be found on Konichiwa facebook events.
